Daniel is a graduate in Physics and holds a Master's degree in Astrophysics from UCM. He delved into the world of AI with his Master's thesis on 'Galaxy Classification using Machine Learning algorithms' and completed an internship at the Data Science Section at the European Space Agency (ESA) until June 2023. Interested in research and AI, he joined CIG as a research assistant in October 2023.

    • Currently focusing on explainable artificial intelligence in optimization problems and the utilization of distribution estimation algorithms (EDAs) in ML.
